this kid offered me a quaalude. I had been warned that this might happen and it was a scary moment to be offered "drugs" for the first time. I declined on the offer and stayed away from that kid for the rest of the school year. thought he might try to dose my mellow yellow or maybe stick me with a dirty syringe. i don't know; I was spooked.

"ludes" were taken off the market in the US before i stopped saying, "just say no" so I never got to try that stuff. question for the 40+ set:
